Aurora festival 2020 has now been cancelled due to COVID-19 virus

It is with great regret that we have made the decision to cancel Aurora Festival 2020.

This is a decision that has been discussed and agreed by the Aurora committee, after a lot of thought and deliberation, looking at the practicalities and considering the safeguarding of all of our wonderful customers.

The impact of Covid-19 has already affected ticket sales. There is also the potential for vendors and suppliers to withdraw at any time, due to illness or self isolation, leaving us with a space to fill at short notice or more likely, not at all. 

We pride ourselves on providing the best, independent, Lifestyle Festival in the UK, giving our customers an experience to remember. We are not prepared to offer you all, an experience that is a poor replica that does not reflect the true essence and standards of Aurora.

We will use this time to look after ourselves and each other  and see where this virus takes us. Hopefully 2021 will, be the year to return bigger and fresher and virus free.

We apologise to all of our customers, for any inconvenience this will cause but we do have your health and safety at heart.

Ticket holders may request a refund or a transfer of their ticket to next years festival. Please remember that any early bird or discounted tickets that are refunded, will not be available at that same price, next year.


Please email to make your request by 31st May 2020. Any tickets not refunded will automatically be transferred to Aurora 2021.

We will miss you all, so please stay safe and look after each other.

Welcome to the only UK festival for LGBT communities and adult lifestylers

The Aurora Committee are delighted to announce that the next festival  will be held from Thursday 2nd July 2020 until Sunday 5th July 2020.


This 3 day event will be working alongside ALL lifestyle groups, including LGBT communities, to ensure we deliver a fun and entertaining event for all.  We will continue to deliver the BEST EVER Aurora weekend.


Once you arrive, you will be guided to the camping or camper van areas where the marshalling team will ensure you get located and unpacked. Once your accommodation is sorted then have a wander around our extensive site to check out all that will be on offer at the “info tent” where our staff will provide the very latest news on whats on.

There will be a full entertainment programme well as a vibrant and eclectic mix of live music, DJ’s and comedy.

We have luxury showers and toilets available, and for those self catering we have a standpipe (please DON'T USE the sinks in the toilet units or they overflow!)


Perhaps camping is too much hassle so we are now offering a full range of GLAMPING, to include electric and heating options, all bedding, furnishings and lighting, so you just turn up and relax!


Friday night is the start of  our THEMED weekend, and closer to the event we will confirm what special plans we have, a chance to get the fancy dress out and we will add the special ‘Auroras’ magic to the plans.


So, grab your tickets and come and join us at the UK’s only Independent festival for ALL lifestylers and LGBT groups, fully approved and licenced by local authorities.

Your festival ticket does not include any accommodation, this can be booked separately if required.  Alternatively, bring your own tent or camper van. No electric connection is available. Chemical toilets cannot be emptied on site (your tickets will be cancelled if this happens). Our glamping options are now available until the end of April, in addition to the cost of your ticket. No sexual services or entertainment can be offered, anybody found breaching this rule will be immediately removed.

The festival is a PRIVATE event, and not open to the public. Pre-purchased tickets only.

No members of the Press or Journalists are allowed on site in any capacity.

As with previous years, no refunds can be given and no ticket transfers are allowed.

We ask that photo ID is brought along so that we can ensure genuine ticket holders only access the event, to ensure that all guests can enjoy the privacy that they deserve.

Single Gentleman – before booking please email us at and provide your profile name. We wish to confirm you have a well verified profile(minimum 2 personal verification's) and we may ask you to provide further information before booking. Any bookings made without adherence to this condition will render your ticket invalid and no refunds will be granted.

By proceeding with a booking and ticket purchase you confirm that you are not a member of the press, media, other communication vehicle not pre-approved by the event management team or a commercial competitor.

You confirm that you will not divulge personal information or the location of the event, once notified, to ANY third parties who have not booked to attend the event, to ensure no unwanted guests attempt to gain entry.

Ticket Holders will be issued with a wristband(s) on arrival. You agree that the wristband(s) issued to you shall be worn at ALL times. Failure to wear them will result in you being asked to leave the event without delay to ensure the security and confidentiality of those attending.

Wristband(s) will not be replaced under any circumstances. Guests will be asked to show wristband(s) every time they move between the campsite and the festival arena.

Anybody leaving the site must provide photo ID on re-entry and we reserve the right to refuse re-admission should this be deemed necessary.

If a "Couples" ticket is purchased then both parties MUST attend the event and MUST arrive together.

You agree that during the festival, and on vacation of the site, you will remove all personal litter/rubbish from your pitch area using the bin bags provided and deposit in the large skip at the main entrance to site.

You may bring your own alcohol for use in the camping area. The main festival arena is fully licenced and any alcohol consumed within the arena must be purchased from the bar. Any alcohol from "own" sources found in the arena will be confiscated and destroyed.

Anybody intoxicated or causing a nuisance to other guests will be asked to leave by our security team.

The management of Aurora run a ZERO TOLERANCE policy on any form of illegal drug use. Anybody found selling or providing any illegal drugs will be detained and passed to the local Police.

BBQs may be used, please check with the events team where they may be used.They must be raised OFF the ground.

Cameras and camera phones are strictly not allowed anywhere in the event area.

Vehicles are left at the owners risk. The management team cannot accept ANY responsibility for items left in vehicles or the camping area.

Smoking is not allowed inside any of the enclosed areas, bar, chill-out areas, shower blocks or toilets. Please use sand buckets provided.

Guests are respectfully asked to ensure toilets & showers are left as you find them and to report any issues to the events management team.

DO NOT use sinks in the toilet blocks for washing up or disposal of chemical toilets or other liquids as it may result in units having to be closed and you will be asked to leave the site.

Any communication to the media will be considered a breach of confidentiality and legal proceedings will be taken by the event organisers.

All ticket holders will be notified of the venue directions / location 72 hours before the event opens.This is to ensure no unwanted visitors attempt to gain access to a private event.

By booking you fully accept that bag checks will form part of the entry criteria to the arena. No food or drink can be bought into the Arena, only items purchased from our food and drink vendors. This restriction does not apply in the camping areas.

We ask that use of showers is contained to no more than 5 minutes to ensure continuity of service and cleaning is carried out effectively.
